Here is the load down... 500hp/475lb-ft torque 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers • Cross-drilled rotors • Aluminum engine block with 104.8-mm bores and pressed-in liners • Forged steel crankshaft with 101.6-mm stroke • 6-bolt, forged steel main bearing caps • Titanium connecting rods • Cast aluminum flat-top pistons • Racing-derived CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads with 70-cc chambers • 56mm titanium intake valves • 41mm sodium-filled exhaust valves • 11.0:1 compression ratio • Composite manifold with 90 mm single-bore throttle body • Camshaft with 15-mm (.591-inch) lift • Dry-sump oiling system • 7000-rpm redline WEIGHT: 3130lbs/1420kg Autoweek.com redriderbob _____________________________ 2000 Dodge Durango SLT 4X4 Loaded. 2005 Kawasaki KLR650. http://www.myspace.com/redriderbob Post #: 1

I really like some of the styling the front end has, to make a modern Sting Ray look. However, I just think the C5 is such a much better looking car, then this could ever be! The C5 has smooth/sliky lines that look like it would just fly through the wind. They're just trying to make it more popular, but why? It looked great as it was. Leave it to GM to mess around with a good car name. I still love the Corvettes, just the older ones. They have that indentation of the Viper. I am absolutely amazed!! I love it. It looks awesome, but a Viper rip off??? The Vette has been around for 51 years....I don't think it's ripping anyone off. The Vette had door coves in the 50's, it's not copying anything but itself. It has very similar door coves to the C5, which was out before the current Viper. In the 10 months that I have been a member of this board, I have always wondered why there was so much flaming on other car companies. I don't like Ford, but I don't think every car they make is garbage, I just don't like them. Everyone is entitled to thier own opinion, but damn folks, why all the hate?
