Default Sierra Denali??

I have a 99 Dodge Ram Sport 4x4 with the 318, A guy I work with has a new Sierra Denali, he kills me, I have Superchips power programmer, Borla catback, and a K&N cold air intake. What else can I do for reasonable money to do better against him??
Thanks for any ideas.

Well no duh he is going to kill you, lol... he has a 6.0L "VORTEC" (364CI) V-8 w/ 325 horsepower and 375 ft-lbs of torque at the flywheel... plus that all wheel drive system he has, surely can help him get traction to pull away from you, no problem!</P>

And I've never really seen a 4x4 that was super fast off the line... at least not without a serious bit of pocket change invested.

I've seen a couple of those run 14's out of the box! You probably need to find someone else to pick on!<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

Come on guys and girls cut me a little slack, I know better to ask a question like that.
It was the guy that a work with the Denali that wrote that Post. I should have never let him see my password.

The only way you can beat him is to either add expensive SuperCharger and other upgrades on your truck, or go to a 2003+ Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab/Quad Cab Short Box 4X4 w/ the HEMI.</P>

OK here is the low down, like it or not. </P>

I own and have owned Fords Chevys and now a Dodge. My F 250 and 2500 4x4would run circles around any Dodge 4x4 (stock). And I have had a few that would run low 11's in the 1/4. I'm new to the Dodge world as an owner but have raced plenty in my other trucks(2 and 4 wheel)and have hadmany friends with a Mopar product. The HEMI of yeaster year was/is SWEET. Todays HEMI is a bunch of hype (sorry) I bought the Dodge for the looks and comfort. If I wanted to go fast that is what my toys are for. I currently own 1 Ford 1 Chevy and 1 Dodge and love them all for different reasons. The Denali should be more of an up scale truck....it costs twice as much. </P>

Just thought I'd put my two cents in..not that any of you care. But I'll sleep better....<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P><edited><editID>First Timer</editID><editDate>38008.9665625</editDate></edited>
