overheat after winterizing - 12/10/2007 8:55:08 AM    LBCOOPMAN   Posts: 1 Joined: 12/10/2007 Status: offline drained the water from radiator. added antifreeze and bled system..... Now overheating (stopped before could red line but was rising extremly fast) Also now get code 17 and code 23 from obd using key trick... (17 engine cold too long or engine coolant temperature remains below normal operating temp. and code 23 air temperature sensor below or above acceptable voltage) could one of these cause overheating.. Also, can a bad heater core cause overheating. Smell very faint antifreeze a while ago biut not recentlly. No dripping onto floor) recently changed thermostat, fan clutch etc.. fans seem to be working correctly. When tested after changing antifreeze drove about 3 or 4 miles on side roads seemed to be fine. Overheated after 8 hwy miles..... Ideas?????  Post #: 1
