Default MSD ignition

Has anyone put an MSD in there dak? Any noticable gains? And What do I need exactly to have an MSD ignition I know I need the box,coil, spark plug wiress, any thing else?

I accully did. For me nothing noticalbe. But still worth it to know your ignition is the best it can be. Maybe others have felt it.
I did have a MSD high per. coil but it failed on me and left me straded. So I bought Accell high per. coil. I also Bought Accell High temp wires. I love these. You can let it tuch the header and it dont melt. I had the bosh platnum 4s. But everyone says to stay away from them. So I tried Autolights 3923. Nothing noticable.

Ya I was thinkin of gettin a Accel coil anyway cause it would match the color my engine

Dude thats freakin bad where did you get those accel spark wires?

I got them from jegs.com summitracing probably has them too. I think pepboys or autozone may carry them too.

which MSD ignition control box did you get?

Im some what cheap right now I was thinkin going with there MSD 5-series ignition

I didnt use a control box. I just got a coil.

Are you planning on using it on your truck. As far as I know you cant use them on efi. The computer does a good job too.

No I didn't know that, all I thought the control box did was increase thespark durartion
Though that does make sense cause I never seen one on a EFI

yea, the computer adjust the spark and all of the other things the box would do. is the accel coil yellow?

ya the coil is yellow and you can get the plug wires in different colors too.
