ok ive havcent seen them around for awhile but earlyer this year i was searching around on the internet looking at what other people had been doing to there 3si's and alot of the non turbo doch guys instead of the tt conversion were building there engines all the certain same way and getting like 315hp at the wheels from it no juice no supercharger or turbo nothing. The heads were ported and polished, then intake was honed and the engine was ported a certain amount and maybe some other stuff i cant remember but does anyone know of this set up? they all of a sudden disapeeard of the earth i cant find anything on them
I don't believe I have seen a N/A that powerful yet without a nitrous atleast. But if you have the money you can get 315hp and a lot more. But seeing how that is a good bit of hp I am also curious to see what this setup is.
ive seen um before and their dyno sheets averageing around 290hp to 320hp. A couple of the guys on the 3si forum have um but since im not a member i cant talk to um or anything. i fond it through searching google ALOT!!!!!! if there was a more describing word i would use it. I know the build cost around $7000.00 though so it aint cheep and you might as well make it a tt conversion. the engine gets stroked alil 2. Im not planning on even touching my stealth it sits there its more of a lawn ordiment kinda like my talon is a garage ordiment. The guys who are helping me are also biulding there own cars and the more i look at um theres are more unique then just another 10 sec dsm. My one buddy has a 91 cavileir with the gtp engine in it doing high 12's on street tires its pretty sweet. so i mite lean towards the ole stealth again. Is anyone here a momber on 3si that could maybe help me find those threads?
ugh. I know ive seen um b4 there was one on ebay a long time ago that had eexactly what was done to the engine listed. O well maybe ifi finda way to get the funds or if i have left over money with my talon ill go throw the money on my stealth
