1997 Intrepid gas leak - 12/9/2007 2:49:24 PM    tskilbride   Posts: 1 Joined: 12/9/2007 Status: offline A friend of mine said her 1997 Intrepid has a gas leak. She took it in and they said it would cost a lot for labor and it was a "O" ring. Any idea's what this could be or where to look? I'm 2 1/2 hours away and not able to get to it right away. RE: 1997 Intrepid gas leak - 1/10/2008 6:32:44 PM    HardMaple   Posts: 6 Joined: 1/10/2008 Status: offline Not a lot of information there.  Does it leak when its off, when the key is on, or only when driving it?  Off-hand if the labor is high, its probably in the fuel rail perhaps where the line from the filter joins the fuel rail.
