thats less than i had figured...more than i had hoped, but i figured that it would be over 40...although i dont see many of the early models going for anywhere near msrp...

What he's saying its pretty comparable to the other SRT-8 platforms.

You're right it is. The Challenger is quitea premium car and has the potential to rival cars that are far more expensive, but it is not only priced a lot less than those models are it is priced nicely even for an SRT-8.

Don't give up, dusty. I'm sure the R/T will be more afforable and whether or not it has an engine update, it'll be plenty fast.

According to the attached ad, the MSRP is actually $40,095.... which reflects the 37,995 figure PLUS the mandatory $2100 gas guzzler tax.
