Default what's this 'cooler' - part of the stock radiator?

2001 slt, 4wd, 4.7 - I'm sure this does not have the factory tow package, stopping by the dealer tonite for a build sheet to verify.

But there's a 'radiator' less than 1" thick in front of what I'd call the normal engine radiator - the front one is the same height and width as the 'normal one, just separated from it about 1" and thinner.

So is that the normal design of the stock radiator for the 2001?

If you had the factory tow package, you should see another identical cooling coil approximately the samedimensions as the A/C condensor coil but half its size mounted in front of the A/C coil. That would be the transmission cooler coil.
