Any idea where to get them, what brand to get, or color temp? And how do you like them so far. The xenon gas charged bulbs just aren't doin it for me. I need the real system Post #: 1

Not cheap but god dam they look sexy. Also ericemery, what kinda of thermostat would you suggest. Im lookin to get a new one. What degree should I get? RE: HID Xenon's - 12/10/2007 10:23:56 PM    ChadJK   Posts: 36 Joined: 12/1/2007 Status: offline I don't consider myself cheap by any means, but am I the only one that doesn't see the cost justification in HID kits?  Seriously, $400+ for top of the line kits.  There isn't $400 of materials or technology there.  Let's face it, there's bulbs, ballasts, and some wires and that's it.  Hell, for $400 I could get an entry-level PC, for a hundred bucks more, I could get an LCD with it.  Are HID kits on the same level with personal computers?  Seriously, this makes no sense to me at all.
