Thinkin about runnin xenon's. Just a quick question. Any idea where to get them, what brand to get, or color temp?
And how do you like them so far. The xenon gas charged bulbs just aren't doin it for me. I need the real system

yeah,  I would talk to jimbo.   But here is what I wouldnt do...

Dont get them off ebay.  most of the ebay light kits are made of cheap components and you might have a hard time getting service for warranty or any other problems.

Yeah I talked to jimbo about it. He told me a site to look at. 250 for a set. Not cheap but god dam they look sexy. Also ericemery, what kinda of thermostat would you suggest. Im lookin to get a new one. What degree should I get? I want my truck to warm up quicker during winter.

I went with the ebay ones and didn't have a problem for my other car, but I bought the first set from a website with the 7000k which are pretty blue, but I do like em. I can give you the site if you want, but its pretty expensive...

I don't consider myself cheap by any means, but am I the only one that doesn't see the cost justification in HID kits?  Seriously, $400+ for top of the line kits.  There isn't $400 of materials or technology there.  Let's face it, there's bulbs, ballasts, and some wires and that's it.  Hell, for $400 I could get an entry-level PC, for a hundred bucks more, I could get an LCD with it.  Are HID kits on the same level with personal computers?  Seriously, this makes no sense to me at all.

Seems like one of those things that they know people want them, so they can charge the big bucks. Like when PS3 first came out, people were payin over 1000 on ebay for them, its just insane
