I was surprised it actually didn't look that bad, but I just can't see the Heavy Duty truck guys driving a Toyota. I don't think it will last long in the market against the HD American trucks

Did anyone notice that he said the axles are "mediun duty" ? How long do you think 1/2 ton axles will live behind 600 lb/ft of torque?

The bed does look bad, but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the front was "Tango & Cash". Anyone remember the truck in that movie?

It would be a mistake to sleep on any diesel powered truck, especially if the motor and transmission are sound.

Think about it from this angle.....diesel motors are better, more reliable, more powerful, and get better mileage. Now, while it is a Toyota, this is what....their 7th year of building a "full size truck"???

One more thing....the trucks they build right now.....are still BETTER then what was built by ANY of the Big 3 just as recently as 8 years ago....with the exclusion of the diesel lines for the big 3.....
