Default A few questions and a few ideas

I would like to put a supercharger or turbo on my 2001 4.7 4x4 dodge dakota. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of a good website to find one. I really want to make my truck fast, and i know the easiest way to do that is a turbo/supercharger. Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome. Also i was looking at where i could a sub in it (it is a quad cab). It looks like there is NO room underneath the back seat. what i was thinking was to take out the back seat portion that holds 2 ppl and put in another 1 person one in its place. from there, take out the factory middle seat in the front of the truck. then fabricate a box from the middle of the front seat all the way to the back. I am 19 and my dad and i own a car electronics business, so i have the resources to make this happen. So one again, any input, or better ideas would be appreciated.

supercharger- goto krcperformance.com
subs- mtx thunder enclosure. google it. they make a box specifically for your truck that will go behind the back seat and fit two 10s.

i actually went to kenne bell's website today, and i did not see a supercharger for my truck. i sent them an email requesting further information, so i will let you guys know if they do when i hear from them. and as far as the sub box goes, i was thinking about my way just because i thought it would be interesting. and if i did it right, it would look like it was supposed to be there to somone that doesnt know better.

Just talked to somone at Kenne Bell and he said they are no longer doing products for the 4.7. makes me kinda sad. the sub encolsure is going to be a project for when i have more time. Just bought a magnaflow exhaust for my truck, so i will try to take a vid of before(cherry bomb and rusted tail pipe that was on it when i got it) and after.

Kenne Bell discontinued both of their supercharger kits (4.7L / 5.9L) for the Dakotas.

As far as I'm aware the only Supercharger kit for the 4.7L V8 is from Paxton - I'd recommend it over the KB anyways, there is a lot more people out there running the Novi 2000 on their 5.9L Dakota R/T than the KB ever did, which means more tuning/install advice.

You can get the Paxton from any Paxton dealer - KRC, southeastperformance.com, socaldakota.com, etc...

Just got off the phone with paxton, and they discontinued their supercharger for the 4.7 about 5 months ago. i will try one of those sites to see if they have any in stock that they have not yet sold. thanks for the info.
