I just did mine yesterday in my 98 dakota. IT WAS A BITCH. It is behind the glove box.
Remove the 5 bolts at the top of your dash by the bottom of the winshield. Remove the glove box, then theres a bunch of screws attached to the blower motor cover. Take all of those off. And to get at the ones in behind the vacum, you'll have to loosen the vacum off and get at the 3 in up in behind there. Now you have to take off the kick panels and remove the bolts on either side so you can swing the dash back to get the cover/motor off, also pull back the carpet in the middle and remove the 2 bolts there. This lets your dash swing easier. I thought it would only take me like 2 hours. I started at about 4 and ended at 10. The wiring behind there is a bitch. It always got stuck and was hard to pull out. The blower motor only cost me 100 brand new. It was worth it so I could get some heat. Hope this helps.
