Default Whistle sound

Hi guys...

Recently car start making some whistle sound. I took out the PCV valve and verified it for a constant flow of air in one direction and it turned out to be fine. Always had the oil changed at 3000 miles and before the due time. Hope there is nothign wrong with the engine. (No smoke )

The alternator was changed recently but I'm familiar with the new sound produced by the alternator and it doesnt sound like that.

Any ideas what else could be ?

is that bad? the vacuum leak? .... cause mine whistles to a bit! i mean not like when i just drive it normal but if i want to get up on it, it will start to whistle i never thought it would be a problem cause i had people ask me if it was turbo cause they could hear it! lol ( its an ES ) ... but any way is this a serious problem? or wont it do any damage really?

Does your car still have the stock intake tube? A vacuum leak will rob some power.
