Default wich way did they go?

i bought my wife[boss] a2000 300m.what a great package, however a 300m came in shop on rollback yesterday.seems the inner tie rod ends severd the bolts off rack&pinion.so in other words the steering wheel just spins around and the front wheels dont respond.seems to me the owners of this car were very lucky, after all.

There is a TSB out for that... thank goodness they are okay. That's a good reason why your car should go to the dealer once in awhile, to check if your problem is under a TSB.

So glad everyone was okay!! Check yours and have the dealer do the TSB if you are worried. Is it still under factory warranty...?

The thing with TSB's are that people usually have no idea about them. The dealers should do a better job letting the consumer know about them. It wasn't until a couple years back that I even found out about TSB's. They have saved me a good deal of money.

Default RE: wich way did they go?

TSB are available on the net also at your dealer---WARNING, we(dealers)do not perform TSB's cause you ask us to. If you have a ploblem and if it is related to the TSB then we perform the repair procedure.

Yep, the only time they get done otherwise is in the event of a recall.
