Well hello Charger loving ppl.. just like me.
I'm very new to this forum, have been reading around and haven't found too much about more hardcore tune ups on the hemi. I'm in the early stages of getting a charger here in this iceblock that I live in.  Becose of a really high gas prise here (7.1$ per gallon) I want to have the mds system to defnd my choise of getting a american fuel drinking beast. But then agen I really want to get 400-450 hp to the ground.  Have any one here done any internal change to their engine.  Like new camshaft that is mds friendly, new roller rocker arms with higer ratio 1.7 or higher, stiffer valve springs or port jobs.  Just any thing that dose not have to change the rotating asembly of the hemi and still have fully working mds. Thanks alot

I've got a MDS friendly Comp-cam cam & springs, haven't touched the rocker arms. I waiting for a Diablo tune that should put the car around 350 HP and 380 TQ to the ground. Other engine mods include a DIY CAI, Corsa Catback & long tube headers.

oky thanks for that.  And what about high performance heads,  do you know what the orginal heads flow?  Is there that much diffrence from the stock head with some work done to them?  I have not found that many performance heads and they all cost a small fortune.  And yes mango what are the specs on your cam?  Do you know the specs on the orginal cam?

Thanks

I'm going to piece meal this one, I don't have the OEM 5.7 specs.  I got a KRC 212lx cam and it's specs are 212/216-490/493 114.

OEM head flow is good I forget the numbers, I have a friend here that has the same basic setup as mine and the only difference is he has ported and milled heads.  He pulled a 350HP 384TQ on a dynojet.  I need to dyno once I get tuned and see how far off his number I am.
