I have been driving little Toyota & Honda used cars and can finally get a real car. I've been looking at a couple of different cars and have pretty much settled on a 2008 Dodge Charger SRT8 with all three option packages. I was looking at Dodge.com to find one in the area I could test drive, but according to the inventory pages there's not one to be found within 300 miles of me. If that's true how long would it take for my local dealership to order one? I'm not picky on color. I'd prefer the black or steel blue, I'd take red if it meant getting it quick. I'm also wondering since it's the new model year how much over MSRP is the markup going to be (I'm assuming there is one, isn't there?)? Or how about the Super Bee? Are they available yet? I'll have the money together first of the month and I want to get into it as quick as I can.

Yeah...I'm in the same boat with you bringram! I am all but ready to pull the trigger on 2008 Magnum SRT8, fully loaded. I think there has been some delay in the roll-out of the '08 LX model line due to a supplier issue up in Canada. According to my local delership they don't expect to see any until November 15th. With gas prices going up I plan on getting a lot closer to invoice than worrying about a second sticker for dealer profit. All of the local dealers down here are still trying to get rid of 2007 inventory so getting a deal shouldn't be a problem. Good luck!
I can get a new srt 8 anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks with your name on the window sticker. do not worry about price my dealership is one of the biggest srt dealers in the country. as for the b5 super bee they only made 800 of them. they are absolutely with out a question one of the most beautiful cars ever made. I have one and it could be bought for 20k over sticker plus all the performance adds it will need to be purchased with two checks made out. email me I can help
Kevin
At that price I would get a ZO6 ot Stang Shelby,,,,,
Better off waitting since the 2009 Challenger will be out by summer time.,........
Then you can drive a 2 door instead of a 4 door........JT
