How many more miles can I expect to get out of my 2000 durango? It is pushing 106k already, but still running strong. What about your Durango, is it good to go OR on it's last leggs?

I have 182,000 on my 2000 D and she is still as stong as an ox.
Take care of your D and it will reward you with many trouble free miles. You have a LONG way to go.

When I went looking for a new (used) vehicle I didn't have a Durango in my mind, I was looking for a Toyota 4x4 but when I saw how much they were going for I decided I might look at another manufacturer, and was thinking towrig for my Toyota 4x4. Well I looked at theother trucksand I refuse to even think about a Ford but nothing striked my fancy until I strolled past my Durango. I thought hmm, don't those come with a 5.9 and have outrageous towing capacity? Now I expect a Toyota to last for a few 100,000 miles since that's what I mainly have but knowing the 5.9 I thought that I'd be in the same ballpark in expected mileage.
I'm looking for a first gen 4Runner with a 22-re engine for a trail rig/weekend toy. Head over to yotatech forum and on avg, guys have 200+ miles on their 22-re with no major issues.

105K on my 2000 Durango, 4.7 stock. The only non normal maitenance issue with mine was the evaporator. The only non-stock thing I did some time ago was throw on a trans cooler (highly recommended). Change all the fluids religously - running as good as day one (hope I didn't just jinx myself).
