Well this thread kinda got off subject....I have a 2wd, put me down for a 3/1 lift, hopefully whatever type of lift it is doesn't run more than 500, and i will be straight with that.  Why does a guy with a 2wd truck need a lift?  The same reason I need all the performance upgrades i can get.......cause i want them!

Kinda like buying a truck and slamming in to the floor....kinda defeats the purpose of a truck in my opinion.. If you want the look of a 4x4...get a 4x4 (excpet in the dakotas case being the same height) If all you want is a 2wd... then be happy with its height....unless its a prerunner

haha!....that's like saying you should just be happy with the height of your 4x4....if the factory wanted you to have 35" tires, it would have come stock that way.......besides, if you wanted to do some real off road driving, you shouldn't have gotten a 4x4, you should have gotten a tank! lol.
