The last model year to include the Dodge Charger's flip-out headlights was 1973.  In 1987, Dodge discontinued production of the Charger.  After almost 20 years, the Charger was rereleased in 2006 and has been a hit ever since.

3. 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum

The '69 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum was the car everyone knew from the popular television show, "The Dukes of Hazzard."  The show ran from 1979 to 1985 and crashed a Charger in every episode.

4. The Scat Pack

In 1968, Dodge released their line of muscle cars (including the Charger), referring to them as "The Scatpack." Plymouth, evidently had another idea, as they referred to the line as the "Rapid Transit System."

Every gearhead knows the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona for its freakishly large rear spoiler, but that wasn't the only cool thing about the vehicle.  NASCAR regulations required that the spoiler be high enough for the trunk to freely open and close.   It was also the first car to travel 200 miles per hour.
