Ram 2500

The Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck has been known for its capabilities in hauling large loads and being the dependable work trucks so many Americans rely on for work. This behemoth comes in 3 options: Regular cab, crew cab, and mega cab. The towing capacity for the 2500 ranges from 9,910 to 12,830 lbs.

The interior features seating for up to 6 people. The Lamarie Longhorn edition also features a 10-way power seat with driver memory, as well as the U-connect touchscreen, park assist, and woodgrain trim.

Ram 3500

In the same light, the Ram 3500 has also built a reputation as one of the most reliable machines in the market. The 3500 comes in 3 configurations: Regular cab, crew cab, and mega cab. The towing capacity for the 3500 yields 10,980 to 12,880 lbs.

On the inside, these trucks feature heated and ventilated seats. The Uconnect touchscreen is provided again. Yet, in terms of luxury, the only other notable features are the Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel with Real Wood "Accents". The model described above is the "Laramie Longhorn" edition.

Rodeo Edition

This is the truck that is the step up from the Laramie Longhorn versions. There are several notable upgrades right from the outside. They feature body-color bumpers. Even the sidesteps match! The interior will feature a suede headliner and canyon brown leather. The trucks featuring the single-rear-wheel come with 20-inch aluminum wheels whereas dual-rear-wheel trucks will have 17-inch polished aluminum rims.

New features

Some of the other great features include the gooseneck trailer prep package and bed-view camera. A Mopar bed step is useful when you’re loading or unloading equipment for work.

Probably one of the neatest new features is an integrated rear air suspension setup to aid in load-leveling when hauling heavy loads or a trailer. Adjustable air springs allow you to raise and lower your truck to different height settings, right from your instrument panel.

Beauty & the Brute

All these bells and whistles are great for the modern day consumer. But we want to be sure we can round up any size load and haul it any distance with ease and confidence. That said, both the 6.4-liter V8 and the 6.7-liter Cummins I6 diesel are available with the Rodeo Edition. The V8 Hemi features great fuel efficiency by redirecting power to 2 spark plugs per cylinder, increasing peak power, torque, and efficiency. The diesel is a high-output engine, offering 930 lb-ft of torque in the low end where heavy hauling requires it. Both versions offer supreme towing capacity. This proves the new beast behind the beauty can truly enable owners to grab life by the horns!
