10. Viper RT/10
In 1996, the now legendary Dodge Viper received it first refresh. And the masterpiece of an American sports car quickly caught everyone's attention. Nearly 23 years ago, Dodge produced an 8.0L, 420HP V10-powered Viper that could launch from a full stop to 60mph in only 4.1 seconds.
9. 1999 Viper GT2
The street-legal version of the Viper GTS-R endurance racer, the 1999 Dodge Viper GT2 was only produced 100 times, solely to meet the FIA homologation requirements. For that reason, this venomous track-ready machine became an instant collector's item. With a power output of 460HP, this special-edition Viper reached 60mph in 4.0 seconds from a standing start, and that was almost 20 years ago!

8. 2010 Viper SRT10
The fourth iteration of the Viper was powered by an enormous 8.4L V10 with a harmony straight from heaven. This 600HP marvel of American engineering catapulted the Viper from 0 to 60mph in just 3.9 seconds.

7. 2010 Viper ACR
The track-focused version of the fourth-gen Viper took things to the next level with race-tuned suspension and aerodynamics. But the weight savings and overall tweaks to the performance of the Viper made the ACR version a full 3 tenths of a second faster than the regular Viper, with a 0-60 time of 3.6 seconds.

6. 1968 Dart L023
With only 80 units ever made, this Dodge Dart drag racer is among the rarest cars the company has ever sold. The result of a partnership with Hurst was this stripped down, ultra lightweight, and ultra powerful Dodge Dart made for drag racing. (Under)rated at 425HP, these badass dragsters have been recorded with 0-60 times of 3.5 seconds... and they were made 50 years ago!

5. Challenger Hellcat
A half a century later, Dodge now has yet another 3.5-second muscle car. The undeniably awesome Challenger Hellcat is powered by a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine that puts out a crazy 707HP and 650 lb-ft of torque.

4. Charger Hellcat
Also powered by the same supercharged Hellcat V8, the Dodge Charger Hellcat still retains muscle car status in our book. The sedan's dynamics make it even faster than the Challenger Hellcat with a blistering 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds. The Charger Hellcat is one of the fastest 4-door vehicles in history.

3. SRT Challenger Hellcat Redeye
The Redeye is, quite simply, an even crazier version of the Challenger Hellcat. With 797HP, (90 more than the Hellcat, and only 11 short of the Demon) this big muscle car is a true rear tire killer that can go from 0 to 60mph in only 3.4 seconds.

2. SRT Viper
Revived under the SRT brand, the Viper returned as an even more capable sports car. Powered by another V10 masterpiece, the snake produced 640 raw HP and reached 60 mph in a crazy 3.3 seconds.

And, of course, the number one spot has to go to the insanely violent Dodge Demon. Fine-tuned for the drag strip, the Demon is capable of a crazy 2.3-second 0-60 time.
