The 2009 Dodge Ram has integrated 35 new and/or redesigned features and is available in a
standard cab, four-door Quad Cab with more spaciousness than its predecessors. The 2009 Dodge Ram offers three bed lengths to choose from. It is being touted for having exceptionally quiet and relaxed-riding comfort.

All three models feature a contoured hood that contributes to great aerodynamics. Special to the 09 Ram 1500 is a coil-spring rear suspension and "grille-forward" design, while the 2500 and 3500 series will retain the classic leaf spring systems. All are designed to be an alternative to SUV's and standard safety equipment includes four-wheel antilock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat and full-length side curtain airbags. Engine choices are 3.5, 4.7, and 5.7 liters, as well as the popular heavy duty Cummins Diesel.
